The ice bath, without the ice runs.

Start with the fold-flat portable tub and a few bags of ice, or skip straight to a chiller-driven plunge that holds 3°C through August. Same cold, same clarity — the difference is who does the chilling.

Asked about ice baths.

Usage, mostly. An ice bath traditionally means water chilled by the bag; a chiller-driven plunge holds temperature to hold the temperature automatically. Our portable tub works both ways — start with ice, add the chiller when the habit sticks.
The advantages arrive on two clocks: minutes after immersion — alertness, mood lift, the noradrenaline surge — and across weeks of consistency: reduced soreness, faster subjective recovery, and a stress response you've trained on purpose. Three cold minutes buy most of it; a chiller buys the consistency.
Beginners do well starting around 10–12°C and working down a degree a week. Experienced users settle between 3 and 8°C. Two to three minutes is a complete dose — longer is not braver.
Depending on your tap-water temperature, typically two to four bags brings a fill into range. With the chiller connected, the answer becomes zero — permanently.

Meet the cold.
